Krill
"Krill" comes from the Norwegian word meaning "young fish" and is now commonly used as the common term for Euphausids, a family of crustaceans found throughout the world oceans. There are 85 species of krill, some of which are exploited commecially. The Antarctic Krill is Euphausia superba. Other species include Euphausia pacifica, Euphausia nana, Thysanoessa inermis, meganyctiphanes norvegica, Nyctiphanes australis.
